If you've searched "Cyberpunk TCG" recently, you may have noticed something new: a fully licensed, official Cyberpunk Trading Card Game is launching at retail on 1 October 2026. It's a different product from what we sell, and the two are easy to mix up, so here's exactly how they differ.
What's launching on 1 October
Welcome to Night City is a brand-new physical trading card game developed by WeirdCo in close collaboration with CD Projekt Red — the first time the core Cyberpunk 2077 universe has had an officially licensed physical TCG. It funded through Kickstarter earlier in 2026, raising well over its goal from tens of thousands of backers, and features characters from both Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, including V, Johnny Silverhand, Jackie Welles and Judy Álvarez. The game uses a dice-based "Gigs" mechanic rather than a traditional life-point system, with players building a crew of edgerunners to complete contracts and build Street Cred.
What we actually sell
What we stock is different: original Kickstarter-era Beta prints of Cyberpunk 2077 TCG cards, from before this new officially licensed game existed. These are the earlier, harder-to-find prints that most retailers don't carry — a separate product from Welcome to Night City, not an early version of it.
Why the distinction matters
Both products share the Cyberpunk name and the same source material, which makes them genuinely easy to confuse, especially once Welcome to Night City hits general retail and search interest in "Cyberpunk TCG" spikes. If you're after the brand-new officially licensed game with the dice-based Gigs system, that's Welcome to Night City, launching 1 October through general retail. If you're after the original Beta-era Kickstarter prints — the ones most UK retailers don't stock — that's what you'll find here.
Buying with confidence, whichever era you're collecting
Every Beta print we list is individually scanned, front, back and all four corners, at 600 DPI — what's on screen is exactly what ships. If Welcome to Night City is what you're after, it's worth checking directly with retailers carrying the new officially licensed line from its October launch.
